Well as you know the weather has been a little hit and miss this year, but our luck held out and we had one of our warmest weekends since May (and that’s saying something).
Friday night we where a bit worried as arrivals where coming in rather slowly, but by 9:00pm we had clocked up a healthy 100 guests.
For Friday night we had been lucky to secure the services of Dumpy playing with his new band "Bluezz Intoxicated" being the professional that he is he put on a storming performance which was well received by the crowed inside.
Saturday dawned bright and sunny with the promise of hot sunshine all day. From about 9:00am we had a steady stream of people coming in, with over 200 guests making it for the Saturday night.
We had the sumo suites again this year as last time they provided some great laughs. We also had a group of Vikings who put on a brilliant and fairly violent display with one guy smashing apart his opponents shield much to the delight of the crowd.
Saturday night's band where something different ”Dead Heart Valentine" played a short set but while musically talented there singing let them down a bit. After the trophy and prizes where given out we had "Nuclear Minogue" to give us a real party for Saturday night....
